- How long does the application process take from beginning to end?
- Start by completing the application along with providing us with your resume attached with a deposit of $5,000.
- How much is the total investment required?
- It is anticipated that in establishing and constructing a Bread Garden the Franchisee can expect to make a capital investment ranging from $350,000 - $450,000. There are many variables involved such as local building costs, contractor charges, landlord contributions, market conditions etc.
- How much is the total franchise fee?
- The fee is $50,000.
- What does the franchise fee cover?
- The fee secures the right to own and operate a Bread Garden unit in a prescribed territory, and the use of the Bread Garden trade name, trademarks, recipes, distinctive décor and manner of doing business.
- Does Bread Garden Franchising Inc. require licensing payments?
- Yes, you will pay 5% of your net sales (exclusive of sales tax) to Bread Garden Franchising Inc. on a weekly basis and 1.5% for advertising and marketing.
- What is the length of the license agreement?
- Term of 10 years or length of lease (not including option years).
- How many employees do I need?
- 10-15 full and part time.
- Do I have to run the restaurant?
- Yes, or a family member.
- Do I have to buy supplies from Bread Garden Franchising Inc.?
- Yes, all supplies must be purchased through Bread Garden Franchising Inc. approved suppliers.
- How is the advertising handled?
- Head Office determines annual budgets and plan of action.
- Where do I get the equipment & supplies necessary for opening a Bread Garden Urban Café?
- Only through approved suppliers.
